Painting is my obsession.This desire to create images and concepts of a different world are coming from a source through me that I cannot explain. Through the years I remember even as a child a need to paint and draw and in order to visualize my dreams.The images that I create now are an extension of magical surrealism lineage. I fabricate gods, new religious deities, magical dressmakers, and mannerist angels.All of these figures are dwellers within the imagination that I have carried for a very long time and are my friends, companions, and iconic symbols to my inner world. In many ways it could be said that my work is an anti reality, a break from the facts. It is also my way of being an anti modernist, embracing religion, traditions, and exercising my hopelessly romantic obsessions.
